Do you think the way you start your day is important? 

If you read my last blog you will know that I love to start the day with movement, meditation, positive affirmation and of course a card pull!

Anyhoo, as a busy mum trying to navigate spirituality and life, we really don't always have the time to sit in solitude, especially in the mornings. They certainly don't always go to plan, between last minute homework, lost shoes and mouldy bananas in the bottom of a bag, it can be challenging!

That is why I love affirmation. You can repeat affirmations while popping on your make up, making the lunches or by yourself in the car as you drive to work, the shop or back home. 

Not only do they start you off with the right mindset, the energy vibration of the words can change your entire mood. This makes them a very effective and great way to quickly connect and get your day on the right path. 

Here are 10 great affirmations you can use to get you pumped and ready for a kick arse day!! 

1. I am grounded, safe and secure 

2. I am connected to my emotions, and I express them with love 

3. I am beautiful, sexy and rock a top knot! (or enter clothing choice here!)

4. I am confident, brave and trust in my instincts 

5. I am all over my to do list and will smash it with grace and ease

6. Everything I do today is important and matters

8. I know who I am and I love every bit of me

9. I am fully connected to my Inner Knowing, Spirit Team and the Universe. I surrender my path to them with trust and excitement

10. I create my own future and I do so with joy

BONUS: I can make my dreams a reality, and I stand strong against nay sayers and negative nellies!

Try a combination or all of these every morning and see how you feel, and don't forget to have a go at making up your own using these a as starters.

You can also try these in a meditation, sitting quietly repeating them out load, and then sit in the vibration of the words silently for a few minutes. See yourself moving through your day with a high vibration of joy, grace and ease.
